1. In this time of high unemployment and budget deficits, what are the most important steps that should be taken to improve our nation’s economy and sustain job creation?

We need to reduce corporate and individual tax rates. We need to repatriate earnings that are directed to capital expenditures and R&D. In addition, we need to reduce regulations for small business

2. What, if any, changes should be made to federal health care policies or programs?

Answer from Carlos Vazquez:
Repeal healthcare and propose legislation that assist those that need healthcare , however, in a common sense conservative manner. Also, we need tort reform.

3. What are your priorities with respect to our nation’s energy policy?

Answer from Carlos Vazquez:
We need to continue to push forward to opening the keystone pipeline. In addition, we will push legislation to assist in opening the Monterrey shale in California
|
4. What, if any, changes should be made with respect to our nation’s security, including our national defense or anti-terrorism measures?

Answer from Carlos Vazquez:
We need to strengthen our military forces and especially our internal national defense. We must continue on developing our anti-terrorism measures.

5. What is your position on the issue of immigration reform? What, if any, changes to legislation or policy would you support?

Answer from Carlos Vazquez:
We need immigration reform quickly. We need to ensure that our borders are secure and that the immigration policy proposed be implemented.
