Scott Markovich supports the provisions of the United States Constitution.

Based on the 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution, Scott Markovich believes in separation of church and state and that government should not show preference to one religion over another, it should remain neutral.

Based on the 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution, Scott Markovich supports a citizen's right to marry who they want.

Based on the 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution, Scott Markovich supports a citizen's right to free speech even if it may be offensive to some.

Based on the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution, Scott Markovich supports a citizen's right to bear arms and believes guns are not the reason for gun violence that people are.

Scott Markovich is pro-choice when it comes to abortion rights as he believes when women have a choice they are more likely to decide in favor of life.

As an independent thinker, Scott Markovich believes in the free market economy that if our government would tax less that the citizens will have more money in their own pockets to start businesses and to be multiplied into the economy.

Scott Markovich believes if the citizens had more money in their pockets, their use of those monies into the economy would multiply into additional sales tax dollars which in turn would fund the services the government needs to provide to its citizens.

On education, Scott Markovich thinks good teachers do not get paid enough that we need smaller class sizes while encouraging new methods of education such as virtual academy, STEM, charter, magnet and vocational schools and more choices will make our public schools better. Scott Markovich would like to encourage and retain great teachers and have the ability to thin the ranks of those teachers who don't measure up.
