Investment Security

Safety is first for public funds
The city has had financial issues due to the economic downturn caused by the bank meltdown. Through all this the treasurer and city council maintained a policy for investment that was very conservative and emphasized security. This policy, and the sustainability ordinance that Mayor Evola and I worked with the finance director and city manager to create, will keep Pittsburg on an even keel.
