I have lived in Costa Mesa for 38 years and my four children went to Newport-Mesa Unified School District schools. As a parent, I have been a PTA President and a Parent Faculty Organization (PFO) President. As an educator, I have been an elementary school teacher and a middle school teacher (math). I was N-MUSD's first District Science and Math Coordinator and I was principal of Eastbluff Elementary and Harbor View Elementary Schools. My better half, Scott Cleveland, is retired from AT&T and currently attending Cal State Fullerton as a History and American Studies major.
