Candidate for
Director; Jurupa Area Recreation & Park District; Division 5

I am the owner of Pen Porter, a public relations and marketing business I started last year after a career in journalism and public relations.

I have always been an advocate of recreational opportunities for all. My chosen recreation is running, which I do mostly on the streets of Jurupa Hills, but also on the Limonite Trail and, in Riverside, with the Riverside Road Runners running club.

I am already on the board of Riverside Road Runners. I also serve on the Economic Prosperity, and Arts and Recreation action teams for the City of Jurupa Valley's Healthy Jurupa Valley program. I previously was a director and marketing manager of the Jurupa Valley Chamber of Commerce, of which I am still a member.
