Board Member; Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District

4th generation Californian born and raised in Santa Clara County. Resident of Mountain View for 19 years. Married 25 years. One son just graduated from Mountain View High, the other is a freshman there.

After graduating from Berkeley, worked as a commercial banker on Wall Street (Chase Manhattan) for 6 years, then attended Harvard Business School. Returned to the Bay Area and started a private equity firm. Purchased a small Bay Area food company and built it into a $40 million business with 450 employees. Spent 9 years as the CEO and Board Member. Sold company in 2002 so I could spend more time with my two young boys. Currently working with my sons on a new venture in the backpacking industry.
