Candidate for
Board Member; Palomar Health

My name is Dara Czerwonka and I am seeking a Board of Directors seat with the Palomar Health District. My experience and education have prepared me well for this position. I earned a Masters degree in 1994 and worked in the healthcare industry for seven years. I currently serve as chief executive of a nonprofit. I have served on a healthcare board in the Los Angeles area before moving to Escondido a few years ago. I am also involved in the community as an active member of the Escondido Rotary Club, a volunteer with the Escondido Humane Society, a member of the Escondido Charitable Foundation, and a School Site Council member with the San Pasqual Elementary School District.

For most of the last twenty years, I have worked in management positions, giving me a keen understanding of operational and management issues.
