Candidate for
Board Member; Deer Springs Fire Protection District

Donna and I have been Southern California residents since 1991 and moved to the District in March 2013 after a 3 year expat assignment in Hong Kong. We fell in love with the District and are amazed by the beauty of the District's natural resources and the warmth of its residents.

I was a Managing Director for a NYSE listed company (NYSE:NCI); with national and international responsibility for a broad range of expert and consulting services that included: financial and business management; risk & compliance consulting; and corporate fraud investigations.

Retiring earlier this year, I now have the time, experience, and passion to serve the community.

The DSFPD, under the capable leadership of Chief Chris Amestoy, will be facing numerous challenges in the future as the District balances out the need to serve new projects while maintaining the existing level of service to current residents.

The mission of the Board is to uphold the public trust and base decisions on integrity, honesty and sound fiscal policy. I will honor and respect the mission of the DSFPD and serve the Board and the District to the best of my abilities.
