Develop and Implement the Following Priorities Immediately
Strategic Priorities:
- Create Urgency to Improve Academic Performance
- Improve Reading Proficiency (or Literacy Rates): A high number of students cannot read proficiently.
- Retain New School Financial Analyst to Create: Proper Budget Forecast Models; Reserve Studies; and Long Term Maintenance Plan.
- Identify New Resources and Needs for teachers and students. Increase Spending responsibly so that teachers can teach more effectively.
- Build a New System of Continuous Academic Improvement at each school.
- Form "Collaborative Groups" of Teachers and Parents who meet routinely and report to the board frequently.
- Improve Communication and Sharing of Information.
- Foster a Deeper Partnership within the Communities and local government.
- Ensure development and implementation of Future Parcel Tax Solutions to increase academic scores and real estate values.
