This information is provided by the candidate

My personal commitment to the world is to try and leave it a better place than when I entered. Whether this is possible or not, I do not know. I do know that Education is at the forefront of my beliefs. Our citizens must be educated in order to form opinions on the matters that confront them and their neighbors.

I have become very aware of the gridlock sustained on our highways in San Mateo County and believe very strongly that we need to solve that problem before too long or we will lose the great economy that we are experiencing in the Bay Area.

Affordable housing is another issue that we need to find solutions for in San Mateo County. Some of our younger families must move out of the County because of the prices of the rentals. They also cannot buy homes that are within their means and this means that we have an older and older population in San Mateo County. That is not a healthy community. My belief is that people of all ages must live in a community.

I am also an advocate of affordable health care for all of us. We must take care of our young who are our future leaders and our old who have already given much of their lives to help this country continue on and grow.
