Candidate for
Director; Santa Clara County Open Space Authority; District 2

I am a 28 year area resident. I have been active in the founding of two citizens organizations; Milpitans for Compatable Land Development and Save Our Milpitas Hills. I was the chairman of the election campaign which successfully passed the Urban Growth Boundary.

I have served for eight years on the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Commission. During that time I have served on the Acquisition Committee that has moved forward on major County Park Acquisitons. I have also served on the County Park Grazing Task Force, the Alviso Marina Task Force, and the Guadalupe River Park Task Force.

Prior to that I served as chairman of the Santa Clara County Consumer Affairs Commission.
