Ethical Leadership and Responsible Government

Similarly, I believe in responsible government: Individual liberty, personal responsibility, limited and efficient government, enforced check-and-balance accountability, balanced budgets, and putting the interests of "we the people" first is tantamount to good government. For the past 12 years, government bureaucracy has grown to the largest size it has ever been, the debt has ballooned by trillions of dollars, gas prices are soaring, the number of Americans without health insurance is staggering, and our children are being left to deal with a crippling, over-spending economy and disparaging consequences to their health, their environment, and their future.
