DRUGS...SEX...VIOLENCE...these choices serve as alternatives to education turning young people away from the classroom and into the realm of gangs and graffiti.

As a member of the Alvord School Board I will improve academic achievement and create safer schools by establishing an educational environment where students feel empowered by the learning process, rather than feeling imprisoned by it.

A proven leader, and hardworking business owner I WILL deliver results through fiscal responsibility, sensible leadership, and accountable representation to accomplish my objectives:

  • Putting Students' Needs First
  • Involving Parents
  • Respecting Teachers and Staff

Only when we establish a high level of respect for teachers and staff, invite parents to cooperate, rather than compete with schools, and make the needs of students the priority have we fulfilled the educational needs of our community.

A native of the district, I am the only candidate to attend and work in Alvord schools, making me the TRUSTED choice for students. I have a strong background working with youth and educational policy, and would be honored to represent our community at the districts highest level. This November don't make an IMPRESSION in schools, make an IMPACT on education! Elect Mike Gasca for Alvord Schools!
