ABOUT GAIL Family Gail and her family have lived in Anaheim for over 25 years. As a stay-at-home mom, Gail with her husband Ron, raised three children, Pete, Jay and Corey, instilling in them the Anaheim community values of faith, service and community. Gail and Ron also enjoy spending time with their five grandchildren, Amanda, Brent, Alex, Drew and Eric. Businesswomen Gail has run her own business for many years, using her expertise to promote better planning and protect our community's historic properties. Gail has served for over seven years on our planning commission with three years as the chairman. Gail has fought to protect the neighborhood character of Anaheim and to support business and job growth. Community Leader and Volunteer Gail lead the Save Our Anaheim Resort (SOAR) effort to protect Anaheim's largest economic engine and job creator, against special interested that threatened this critical resource. Gail is a founding member of the Anaheim Historic Preservation Committee, which works to support the city's historic districts. As an activist for bettering Anaheim's neighborhoods, Gail is a founding member of the Neighborhood Council Traffic Calming Committee that was formed to help reduce the nuisance and hazard of excessive traffic in Anaheim neighborhoods. Involved in her community in many ways, Gail also serves on the board of directors for the Anaheim Transportation Network, is a volunteer on the Downtown Design Review Committee and is a resident member of the Downtown Anaheim Association. |
