1. What experience related to city government would you bring to the City Council?
I would use my experience as a attorney and mediator, service as a City of San Jose recreation leader at Solari Community Center, and my experience as a member of the San Jose/Evergreen College $500 million bond oversight committee member to serve the residents of district 8 and the City of San Jose.2. What concerns are of particular importance to the city and how would you address them?
The City needs to resolve the pension issue that is causing so much strife for the City, it's employees, and residents. I would seek a middle ground to find a reasonable resolution that the stakeholders can accept and avoid more wasteful law suits.3. How would you balance the needs of the city as a whole with groups’ interests?
I would talk to all interested parties to understand their goals and then I would try to work out an option wherein the parties would have a reasonable solution.
