Felicia Perez Kausin was born and raised in Salinas, and has spent much of her adult life dedicated to giving back to her community. Her professional experience has included sales, marketing, banking and budget development.

Felicia has served as a philanthropic community volunteer for decades. She currently serves on:

~Community Foundation for Monterey County Women's Fund Impact Committee and Women's Economic Security Working Group ~Foundation for Monterey County Free Libraries Committee for "Wine & Words" ~Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce IMPOWER Steering Committee ~Board of Salinas Rotary Club, District 5230 ~Hartnell College Foundation Committee for "Party in the Library"

She has also served on the Board of the Central Coast Center for Independent Living, the Monterey College of Law Board of Trustees, as Co-Chair for the American Heart Association "Circle of Red", and on the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Committee.

In 2009, Felicia was the proud recipient of the Distinguished Rotarian Award. She has also completed the coursework to be recognized as an AgKnowledge Fellow by the Monterey County Office of the Agricultural Commissioner.

Currently, Felicia is the primary caregiver to her 93 year old father David G. Perez. Prior to this experience, she worked at 1st Capital Bank in Salinas as Vice President of Community Business Development. She has also worked in sales and marketing at Dataflow Business Systems, for the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce as Membership and Marketing Director and as the Public Program Coordinator for the National Steinbeck Center.

Felicia graduated from North Salinas High School, and attended California State University Long Beach and Hartnell Community College.

Felicia is married to Ray Kausin, has two daughters Natalie and Rene and is a proud grandmother to a grandson Elijah James.
